Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game Announces Quarter Century Celebration Livestream
A three day event featuring invitational tournaments and anime marathons.
Konami Digital Entertainment has announced a three day livestream event to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game. The Quarter Century Celebration is scheduled to begin on February 16 at 9 a.m. PST and will conclude on February 18.
The broadcast will be available on the official Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Twitch and YouTube channels. The programming includes more than 32 hours of episodes from the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series, alongside prizes and charitable donations.
Competitive play serves as a central pillar of the event. Three different invitational tournaments are planned, covering Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL, Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS, and the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME. The Master Duel and Duel Links segments will feature team based competition involving content creators and former WCS competitors.
A notable addition to the schedule is the return of the Ultimate Duelist Series tournament. This specific event invites previous UDS winners to compete for the title of Undisputed UDS Champion.
