Secret Lair Countdown Kit: Marvel's History of Heroes Announced

Magic: The Gathering is preparing for the Marvel crossover with the announcement of the Secret Lair Countdown Kit: Marvel's History of Heroes. This collection features 30 cards that represent different eras and moments from the history of the Marvel Universe, utilizing illustrations from over 30 artists.

The kit is priced at $199.99 USD and includes a variety of card finishes, such as non-foil, foil, and surge foil. Notable inclusions are Doctor Strange, Master of Magic and Beta Ray Bill. While these two cards are uncommon cards from the upcoming Marvel: Darkhold Destiny set, they are being released early through this kit.

The full collection of 30 cards will be available exclusively at MagicSecretLair.com starting November 2, 2026. This release serves as a precursor to the Marvel: Darkhold Destiny prerelease events, which are scheduled to begin on April 2, 2027.
