Riftbound Updates Regional Championship Prizing and Competitive Policy

Riftbound has announced several updates to the Regional Championship structure, focusing on prizing adjustments and competitive integrity. These changes are intended to better reward tournament performance and clarify expectations for competitors as the circuit progresses.

Under the new prizing model, Overnumbered Foil Plated Legends will be awarded based on overall tournament standing. The top 58 finishers will draft these cards in order of their placement. Additionally, Best-Of rewards will shift to Foil Plated Legends from the Unleashed, Vendetta, and Radiance sets, provided players advance to Day 2 on their respective Legend.

To strengthen competitive integrity, new policies regarding match conduct are being implemented. Players are prohibited from offering or asking for match concessions, and matches ending in a draw due to time limits cannot be arbitrarily decided. Furthermore, Regional Championships will move to an open decklist format.

Looking ahead to the 2026 World Championship Showcase in China, the Top 8 finishers from the European, North American, and Chinese Regional Championships will receive invitations. This event serves as a major milestone in the Riftbound competitive calendar.
