Mega Rayquaza ex Special Illustration Rare Preview
A look at the Kazuki Minami illustrated card from Mega Evolution—Delta Reign
A preview of the Mega Rayquaza ex Special Illustration Rare has been released ahead of the Mega Evolution—Delta Reign expansion. This specific card features artwork by Kazuki Minami, the grand prize winner of the Pokémon TCG Illustration Contest 2024.
In gameplay, Mega Rayquaza ex possesses 280 HP. Its Ruler’s Roar Ability provides energy acceleration by allowing a player to look at the top four cards of their deck and attach a Basic Energy to the Pokémon when played from the hand to the Bench.
The card's offensive capability relies on its Storm Emerald attack. This Colorless-type Pokémon deals 50 damage for every Fire Energy and Lightning Energy attached to all of the player's Pokémon, making it effective in decks utilizing those specific types.
The Mega Evolution—Delta Reign expansion is scheduled for release on November 6, 2026. The set is part of the Mega Evolution Series and will contain over 135 cards.
