Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek Release and Event Schedule

Magic: The Gathering is preparing to enter the final frontier with the upcoming Star Trek set. The release is set for November 13, 2026, offering players various ways to engage with the new mechanics and characters from over 60 years of franchise history.

The launch begins with Prerelease events running from November 6 to November 12, 2026. Participants can utilize Prerelease Packs, which contain six Play Boosters, a traditional foil promo card, a deck box, and a spindown die, to build 40-card sealed decks.

A variety of organized play options will be available through January 2027, including Magic Academy Learn to Play and Deck Building events, Two-Headed Giant Commander Nights, and Standard Showdowns. Additionally, the Magic Presents: To Boldly Go league offers a multi-week Sealed Deck experience across four quadrants.

For competitive players, MagicCon Atlanta will take place during the release weekend from November 13 to November 15, 2026. This event will feature World Championship 32, where players will compete in Standard Constructed and Booster Draft using the new Star Trek Play Boosters.
