Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek Commander Decks Revealed

Magic: The Gathering is expanding into the Star Trek universe with four dedicated Commander decks. These decks, titled Federation Fleet, Landing Party, Klingon Fury, and We Are the Borg, are designed to bring iconic characters and starships into the Commander format. Each deck contains 32 new-to-Magic cards to support gameplay.

The Federation Fleet deck features Jean-Luc Picard, Luminary, and Captain Janeway, Endgame. Players can utilize Picard to empower creatures and Spacecraft artifacts, or use Janeway to lead with Officer tokens. The We Are the Borg deck focuses on The Borg Queen, who strengthens artifact creatures and interacts with opponents' graveyards to create Borg creatures.

Collectors can choose between standard Commander decks and Collector's Edition versions. While standard decks include a traditional foil face commander and non-foil cards, the Collector's Edition provides a surge foil face commander and 99 surge foil cards. Both versions include a deck box, a reference card, and ten double-sided tokens.

The Star Trek Commander decks are scheduled for release on November 13, 2026. Preorders are currently available through local game stores and major online retailers.
