Magic: The Gathering | Marvel: Darkhold Destiny Set for April 2027 Release
A new Universes Beyond collaboration featuring an original Marvel story.
Magic: The Gathering has announced the upcoming Universes Beyond release, Marvel: Darkhold Destiny. This collaboration features an original story set within the Marvel Universe, designed specifically for the Magic framework. The narrative follows a dimension hopping journey involving the Dark Dimension and Marvel's pantheon of gods.
To support the set, a new Marvel Comics story written by Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly will be released. This comic will debut digitally in February 2027, followed by a physical release in April 2027. The story aims to introduce the origins of a brand new character and provide context for the arcane themes found in the card set.
The Darkhold Destiny collection will include various products for different types of players. Beyond the main set, collectors can look for Commander decks, Scene Boxes, and new Booster Fun treatments. The set is scheduled to launch on April 9, 2027.
