Disney Lorcana Hyperia City Prerelease Events Begin October 16

The upcoming Hyperia City set for Disney Lorcana is approaching its prerelease phase. Local game stores will host events starting October 16, 2026, allowing players to experience the new set before it reaches mass retailers.

Players can participate using prerelease boxes, which include six booster packs, four damage dice, a random promo card, and a town map. Two primary formats are available for these sessions. Sealed format involves building a 40-card deck from six booster packs without the standard four glimmer per deck restriction. Pack Rush offers a faster experience using two boosters and a 24-card deck, requiring only 15 lore for victory.

Hyperia City brings Disney and Pixar's Coco into the game, featuring glimmers with music and singing abilities. The set also introduces ink drops, which are special cards that provide temporary ink to assist with gameplay strategy.
